Jrju User's Manual | Special Files and Directories
Links File

The file called "links.jtx" is special. It contains a series of author defined links. There are several possible link types:

Each link will be listed once in the specified index. For example, the following lines will create an index called "Other Links" with a link to the Medical Informatics Home Page:

Other Links
Medical Informatics Home Page
http://medinfo.ufl.edu/>

The phrase "Medical Informatics Home Page" will be linked to http://medinfo.ufl.edu/ where ever it appears in the notebook. Here is a more complex example using a "canned" PubMed query on hypertension.

It is also useful to create synonym links within the notebook. For example, the phrase "cross-references" becomes a synonym for "hypertext links." The current version of Jrju does not recognize inverse references for these synonyms however. This limitation will be addressed in a future version.
