Give 2-10 l/min depending on the situation.
Oxygen is should be given in all cases of cardiopulmonary arrest, hypoxemia of any cause and suspected cardiac ischemia. If clinically indicated, OXYGEN SHOULD NEVER BE WITHHELD! Hypoventilation, a rare complication, should be treated by ventilatory support.
