dosage

• 1 mg/kg bolus followed by 0.5 mg/kg every 2-10 minutes up to 3 mg/kg
• 1.5 mg/kg followed by 2-4 mg/min drip for arrhythmia prophylaxis

precautions

• myocardial depression with excessive doses
